Zoloft® linked to Birth Defects in Children when the Mother took Zoloft® during Pregnancy.

Zoloft® Birth Defect Lawsuits

Studies show that infants born to mothers taking the drug Zoloft® during pregnancy have an increased risk of birth defects. The use of Zoloft® during pregnancy may increase the risk of your child developing cardiac defects such as Atrial Septal Defect (ASD), Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD), or a hole in the heart. In addition, the use of Zoloft® during pregnancy may increase the risk of your child developing Persistent Pulmonary Hypertension of the Newborn (PPHN) or omphalocele. Infants born with PPHN have abnormal blood flow through the heart and lungs, and do not get enough oxygen to their bodies. An omphalocele birth defect can cause the infants intestines or other organs to protrude through the belly button.

If you or a loved one has taken Zoloft® and given birth to a child with a birth defect, you may be entitled to compensation.
