J. Van Robichaux, Jr. is a practicing attorney in the New
Orleans area, concentrating since 1975 in litigation at both the state and
federal level. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of New
Orleans and his JD degree from Loyola University Law School. He has had
experience in admiralty, product liability, environmental law, medical
malpractice, automobile accidents, nursing home negligence, asbestos injury, dangerous drug litigation, and
toxic tort class actions. He has handled cases involving eighteen wheelers,
severe burn injuries, paralysis, brain injury and wrongful death. He has also handled
cases as a mediator and as an arbitrator. Robichaux is
admitted to practice before the U.S. 5th and 11th Circuit Courts of Appeals and
the U.S. Supreme Court. He is licensed in all state courts in both Louisiana and
Colorado.
