Lexapro® Birth Defect Lawsuits
Studies show that infants born to mothers taking Lexapro® during the last half of pregnancy have an increased risk of birth defects. The use of Lexapro® during the second or third trimesters of pregnancy may increase the risk of your child developing Persistent Pulmonary Hypertension of the Newborn (PPHN), heart, lung and cranial defects. Infants born with PPHN have abnormal blood flow through the heart and lungs, and do not get enough oxygen to their bodies.
If you or a loved one has taken Lexapro® and given birth to a child with a birth defect, you may be entitled to compensation.
